Rice Advanced Materials Institute strives to be an inclusive, campus-wide organization which will serve as a coordinating and enabling force to expand the scope and impact of materials research at Rice University. RAMI aims to help build a community of materials research (existing and new) who are acknowledged for their world-leading, field-changing materials innovations. RAMI will, in turn, provide scientific and administrative leadership to assure engaged faculty, researchers, and students can focus on their research and are enabled to experience no boundaries to their work.
RAMI offers membership as Faculty Affiliates (Faculty members with a primary appointment at Rice) or External Affiliates (Key stakeholders and partners of the Institute who do not have a formal appointment at Rice University or are on campus for a temporary appointment). The Affiliates should be doing research in at least one of the RAMI core research areas and should show a demonstrated interest and actively participate in connecting with the ongoing efforts to grow the advanced materials research endeavor on campus. Please refer to the attached document for details on membership overview, benefits, and expectations. If you are interested in becoming a RAMI Faculty Affiliate, please fill out this form https://forms.gle/72JaN3KAZio4enCj7
